New signs for passing toll plazas have been introduced at M-11 Highway
United Toll Systems, LLC, the company which operates toll roads, jointly with “Russian Highways” State Company and North West Concession Company LLC, started a program for replacement of traffic signs informing on the toll methods available at specific toll plazas (TP).
United signs will be installed at all toll sections of M-11 Highway, while at this moment they differ between sections. Along with that, the fast lanes at all TPs will work for non-stop toll collection using a transponder.
“We hope that introducing new signs made in a single color grade will help the drivers navigate and choose the right lane when approaching a toll plaza, which will decrease the number of traffic jams”, - noted Oleg Trofimov, the first deputy CEO of United Toll Systems, LLC.
